Tell you what, they serve some seriously great steak here. Nice quiet ambiance with good service. You can even watch whitetail deer lounge around outside while you enjoy your meal. Nice place...well worth the trip.
There were 6 of us doing poker run having a great day. Stopped in for a drink and something to eat. Got drinks and waitress never came back to take our order. Place wasn't busy...so we walked out! Too bad because place looked nice with great view.

Beautiful area and very quiet. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. A great place to go to "unplug". No TV or internet service in the rooms. It's refreshing and an opportunity to get back to basics in the surrounding woods. The onsite restaurant opens after 11am and the food is very good with a pleasant dining area. There does seem to be internet in the restaurant for those who need occasional connectivity. A tasty breakfast can be found at Nanettes Rise and Shine, a diner about 15 minutes north. The room fridge is large enough for milk and juice for the morn and soda or beer in the eve. Make sure you stop on your way there because the nearest store is 10 minutes.
